    After pitching our tents at the foot of Morven we waited for the fog to lift, taking a nap

    The lower but slightly steeper neighbour of Morven. Name means "virgin breast".

    But the cloud never lifted and we didn't ascend Morven

    After a good coffee bought at the "River Cottage Cafe" we strolled to the pebble beach

    One hour driving on the return home it cleared up and we were in bright sunlight the remainder of the journey

    The lower snowy summit to the right is Maiden Pap. Below Morven on the coast, very vaguely, Helmsdale can be seen, at a distance of 50km.
