Looking back
After trudging along for over a hour parallel to the Culbin Forest, I looked back and realised I had been seeing logpoles on my right and bogs on my left all the time, the only variation being the geese that flew by in flocks from time to time.
Deepening dusk
Thinking about the walk while returning to my car, I concluded that nature is always beautiful, even if there's little variation, but this walk wouldn't be my choice of a group walk.
