At the foot of Ben Mor Coigach
Ascending a fairly steep slope
A break to enjoy nature and a good lunch
After a steep ascent we reached a plateau called Cadh' a' Mhoraire, giving a view of Sgurr an Fidhleir and Beinn an Eoin with Lochan Tuath in between.
The last walkers toiling up the steep slope along the fence
Journey into the fog
This is the grassy slope we ascended, and later descended again in mist.
The thick cloud cover allowed us the briefest of glimpses of the stunning views
... and we got ourselves lost
Emerging from the fog is a great relief
An interesting experience with the desorienting effect of fog and the virtues of the compass
Sgurr an Fhidhleir, "The Fiddler", crowned with a cloud.
Play of fire (sun) and water (clouds)
Pan's bathtub, enticing to take a dip (not for me)
